This policy explains what information Dogtor Lee collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to dogtorlee.com, the Dogtor Lee app, and our emails. Dogtor Lee is run by Lee's Dog Training LLC, Huntington, Indiana ("we," "us," "our").

The short version: We collect what we need to sell you courses, run the app, coach you, and email you. We use advertising tools (Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API) to share purchase and page-visit events with Meta to measure and improve our ads. We don't sell your personal information for money. You can unsubscribe from emails anytime and ask us to access or delete your data.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact and account details — name, email address, password, and any profile details you add.
• Purchase details — what you bought, when, and your billing details. Card payments are handled by Stripe through Kajabi; we never see or store your full card number.
• Coaching and Ask Lee content — videos, photos, and messages you send about you and your dog, and Lee's replies. Videos may show you, your home, and other people or animals.
• Messages to support — anything you send us by email or through the site.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data — such as IP address, browser and device type, pages and videos viewed, course progress, and how you arrived at our site.
• Cookies and similar tracking tools — small files and code on our site and in our emails (see Section 3).

2. How we use your information

• To process your order, give you access to courses and the app, and run your account.
• To provide Personalized Coaching and answer your questions.
• To send you receipts, account notices, and important updates.
• To send marketing emails about tips, new content, and offers (you can unsubscribe anytime).
• To measure and improve our ads, website, and content.
• To prevent fraud, keep the site secure, and enforce our terms.
• To follow the law.

3. Cookies, tracking, and advertising

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies, including:

• Essential cookies — needed for logging in, checkout, and keeping the site working (set by Kajabi).
• Kajabi's built-in analytics — helps us understand which pages and videos are popular.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Meta Conversions API — share purchase and page-visit events with Meta to measure and improve our ads.
• Embedded YouTube videos — may set their own cookies.

These companies may combine this information with what they already know about you under their own privacy policies. Your choices:

• Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies (some site features may stop working).
• Manage ad preferences in your Meta account (Settings > Ad preferences).
• Opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. There's no common standard for these, so our site doesn't respond to them.

4. Marketing emails

If you sign up for our list, download a freebie, or buy from us, we may send you emails about dog training, new content, and offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to be removed. We'll still send necessary account and purchase emails (like receipts) after you unsubscribe. We use Kajabi's built-in email to send email, and it may track whether emails are opened or clicked.

5. Who we share information with

We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only:

• With service providers who help run our business, such as Kajabi (website, app, courses, email), Stripe (payments), Apple and Google (app stores), and Meta (advertising measurement). They may only use it to provide services to us, or as described in their own privacy policies.
• With advertising partners (Meta) through the tracking tools described above. Under some state laws this may count as "sharing" or "selling" for targeted advertising; see Section 8 for how to opt out.
• For legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or others.
• If the business changes hands — for example, if Dogtor Lee is sold, customer information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
• With your permission — for example, if you agree to let us feature your training video.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep account and purchase information as long as your account is active and as needed for lifetime access, taxes, and legal requirements. Coaching videos and messages are kept while you're a coaching client and for 12 months after, then deleted unless you ask us to keep them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see Section 8).

7. Security

We use trusted platforms (Kajabi and Stripe) that use encryption and industry-standard security. No system is 100% secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep it private. If we learn of a data breach that affects you, we'll notify you as required by law.

8. Your choices and rights

You can:

• Access or update your account information in your account settings, or by emailing us.
• Ask for a copy of your personal information.
• Ask us to delete your personal information (we may need to keep some records, like purchase history, for legal or tax reasons — and deleting your account ends access to purchased content).
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
• Opt out of targeted advertising using the cookie and ad-settings options in Section 3, or by emailing us.

Depending on where you live (for example, California, Indiana, and other states with privacy laws, or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights. We'll honor valid requests as required by applicable law and won't treat you differently for making one. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity first.

9. Children

Dogtor Lee is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. International visitors

We're based in the United States, and our providers store data in the U.S. and possibly other countries. By using our site or app from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we may also notify you by email or in the app.
